Colour Bar & Hair Studio was inspired in January 2014 after Veva (Founder) returned home from a trip to Europe. It was there that she experienced the simple and minimalist lifestyle. She loved how time never seemed rushed. There she rediscovered an appreciation for simplicity, sophistication, and natural beauty. Veva attended Olympian University of Cosmetology in 1999 and is a licensed cosmetologist in the state of New Mexico. In 2000, Veva completed a one-year apprenticeship with a former Aveda salon. Veva also served as licensee examiner with the New Mexico Board of Barbers and Cosmetologists from 2006-2009. In 2013, Veva completed a BSB from the University of Phoenix.

Veva's true passion is working in the studio environment, where she can share her knowledge and skill with others. Veva is well versed in all colour, but she prefers to customize cut and colour placement to fit the lifestyle of each individual. LIVED-IN COLOUR is her favorite! Veva is available for creative events, fashion shows, photo shoots and editorial styling.She is trained in advanced cutting classes with Bumble & Bumble and Eufora. Veva has also attended a KEVIN.MURPHY ACADEMY in Los Angeles and New York for advanced cutting and colour placement.

​Veva is always searching for inspiration through travel, fashion, music, art, nature, and the people she interacts with on a daily basis. Veva is also dedicated to her Crossfit Training where she has gained a mindset of focus and confidence; something she applies to everything in life, even behind the chair. Crossfit has also taught her there is ALWAYS room for improvement.

Cassidy Bachman joined Colour Bar in 2018. Cassidy’s work ethic, professionalism, creative approach, and genuine hospitality have granted her personal success. Cassidy has extensive knowledge, is well acquainted with a wide variety of hair cutting techniques and colour placement, specializing in natural balayage and lived-in colour and highlights to enhance natural beauty, resulting in a natural feel. She also loves creating fashion colours with an emphasis on maintaining healthy hair with a low-maintenance approach through placement and haircare to compliment the lifestyle of every client. Cassidy enjoys travel; prioritizing both leisure and professional travels to develop self. Cassidy has also been invested in the success and happiness of the team and the company earning a distinguished reputation and holds up the Colour Bar mission in build and long lasting relationships with clients, which is evident in the trust she has earned from loyal clients.

Cassidy attended Glitz School of Cosmetology in 2016. She has been a licensed Cosmetologist in the state of New Mexico since 2017; she has always had a passion for hair and was influenced by an aunt who is a professional Hairstylist and Salon Owner in AZ to pursue a career in the beauty industry. She strives to help you love your hair again by sharing classic and modern styling techniques and takes continuing education to keep her up to date on all new haircuts, hair styles, and hair colour trends. Cassidy has attended a KEVIN.MURPHY ACADEMY in New York for advanced colour placement techniques, The R+ CO Studios in Miami, FL for advanced cutting techniques and various professional development courses through out he states for Artistic Vision Development.

She strives to make a connection with every client that sits in her chair, while making them feel comfortable and beautiful. Cassidy is also an archer, and a great archer typically has a combination of physical and mental attributes that enable them to consistently perfom at a higher level, which transfer to her dilignece in the salon setting.
